Gadget Doctor Postal Service

Gadget Doctor Scotland, is now offering a postal service. We know that not everyone can get to us when they need a device repaired. With this postal service you can take the headache away of trying to reach us and just get to a post office or courier depot.

How does this service work?
It’s easy. You download the Customer Device Form pdf-small and make sure you fill it out properly. Put in as much detail as you can about the faulty or broken device. Carefully wrap up your device with bubble wrap, or something similar, place it in a jiffy bag. This ensures your device will be safe while in transit. Be sure to include your ‘form’ as well as your device.

Technology repairs

We will use ‘My Hermes’ to send your device back to you. This is a cost that we will cover however you will need to pay the delivery postage to us. But if you are using My Hermes as well then your delivery will essentially be free.

When we receive your device we will first contact you to let you know we have the device and give it a second diagnosis. We do this just in case there are other problems with the device and to check if you would like the other problems repaired. We do not carry out additional work without your consent. Our turnaround time from taking receipt of your device to repairing and sending your device back to you should be no more than 7 working days. We may not always have the required parts for repair on site therefore turnaround time maybe a little longer. If this happens we will again get in contact to update you of the situation and amend the time we will send your device back.

Here at Gadget Doctor Scotland we aim to keep you informed and updated every step of the way with your repair. We understand it is hard to live without your beloved devices and will always strive to do a one day repair. But please understand this is not always possible.

Once your device is repaired and tested you will receive a phone call or email from us letting you know. Once payment has been cleared we will ship your device back immediately and provide you with a tracking number so you can see where your device is all the time and be ready for the safe and repaired return of your device.

The main payment form we use for our postal service is PayPal. There is an additional 4.5% charge added to your price. We also do direct bank transfer if this is an option you would like to use.
